Veteran’s Affairs and Medicare CDM patients WILL need a referral.
Yes, we can refer you under Medicare for medical imaging, including x-rays and ultrasound to help diagnose your problem.
Yes. If you have private health cover for podiatry, we can swipe your health fund card on the same day of treatment to claim your rebate and you will only pay the gap fee. Rebates will vary according to the level of cover you have.

Yes, we are registered under the Podiatry Board of Australia/AHPRA.
Initial consultations are usually 40 minutes, with subsequent consultations about 20 minutes in duration.
Please allow extra time if you have multiple issues to discuss with the Podiatrist.
We provide home visits for patients who are unable to come into the clinic and are local to Highgate Podiatry.
It will depend on the diagnosis.
Many patients have recurring conditions that require ongoing treatment. Others may be fixed with one visit to the Podiatrist.
If you are experiencing pain or discomfort in your feet, this is a good indication that you should make another visit to the Podiatrist.
If you have any relevant history of your foot problem, bring that with you. This includes specialist referrals, previous scans or x-rays, any medication you are on and anything else you think may be relevant.
It may also be helpful to bring along the shoes you most commonly wear, or any shoes that relate to your problem.
If your concern is a nail problem, or if you wish to have your nails cut and filed, or a corn or callus removal, or a nail fungus treatment, it is best to remove your nail polish before your appointment.
